IASP member Teknopark Strogino from Moscow, Russia, has recently taken on the management of a new science park, Technopark Kuryanov. While Strogino hosts a range of small high-tech enterprises, the new park offers specialised infrastructure and support for companies in the field of biomedical technology.

Technopark Kuryanov will offer a full cycle of support to companies, from the initial idea right through to the commercialization of competitive medical products, technologies and services. It boasts 21 thousand m2 of space including offices, production space, warehouses, laboratories, clinical and other premises for residents engaged in medical development, the production of equipment and products, new materials, R & D, and information technology. A business incubator will soon open its doors, where new medical startups and entrepreneurs will be offered legal, financial, marketing, and regulatory support and favourable conditions for their first 3 years of life.

Technopark Strogino, which will provide full operational management of Kuryanovo, was founded in 2007 by the Government of Moscow with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, and was one of the three organisers of IASP’s 2016 World Conference in Moscow.
