ESIL Annual Conference Event

On 5 June 2026, the EIC-funded ESIL initiative is hosting an event in Brussels focused on the future of angel investing in Europe and the deep tech research landscape. The event will bring together business angels, researchers, policymakers, and innovation stakeholders to explore the role of the next generation of business angels in Europe's competitiveness and innovation ecosystem, as well as ways to better connect research teams with funding and support opportunities.

The programme will take place over a half-day and will include high-level talks, three expert panels covering topics such as the journey from research to market, the role of business angels beyond capital, and the alignment of funding with market needs, followed by a wrap-up session and networking lunch.
