IASP participates in project to develop business incubation in south east Europe
On 25th February, IASP CEO Ebba Lund participated in a session at the final event for the Serbian project ‘EU Support for Business Incubator Development – EUBID’. This closing event discussed the local startup ecosystem, and explored the support programmes and services that are available in the region.
Ebba shared international experiences and perspectives on European innovation ecosystems, with a specific focus on our IASP members in the south east european region. She underlined the importance of strategic networking and drew upon latest data to indicate the key services to implement and support in areas of innovation science parks. As members of the EUBID project consortium, IASP members Kaunas Science and Technology Park (Lithuania) also participated in the event, with Tomas Cevernicus moderating the discussion and CEO Paulius Nezabitauskas sharing their expertise and insights into their local innovation community.
IASP is also a consortium member in the Europeaid project ‘Support to Science and Technology Park Belgrade for Services to Innovative Companies’ which is underway in its initial phases, and aims to further upgrade the operational capabilities of STP based on the international best practice and enhance its services for tenants and client companies in certain stages of their development. It will also promote transfer of technologies and innovation from University, R&D and educational institutions into private sector at policy and operational level.
