IASP is pleased to announce that Oleg Movsesyan has been elected as new President of the IASP Eurasian Division. He takes over from previous president Igor Titov, whose mandate has come to an end.

Oleg Movsesyan has been the head of Moscow State University Science Park, Russia’s oldest science and technology park, since 1999. He was involved in World Bank’s and UNIDO’s innovative infrastructure development projects as an expert advisor in different countries, and in 2014 he was nominated as a Senior Advisor of the International Advisory Committee of TusPark (Tsinghua University, China), one of the largest and best known science parks in the world. He has been a member of the IASP Board of Directors since 2018.

Oleg commented: “I would like to thank my colleagues for putting their trust in me. It is an honour and a challenge for me at the same time to be elected as the President of the Eurasian Division of IASP. The primary objective of my work is to promote the best IASP practices for establishing and managing science and technology parks among the members of the division, and to run and implement partnership programs between our countries for cooperation and mutual development of the residents of Eurasian Division science and technology parks.”

Please join us in welcoming Oleg to his new role representing the IASP Eurasian Division, and in thanking Igor Titov for all his hard work on behalf of the division over the last three years.
