Welcome reception at the Barceló Renacimiento, 27th September 2022

Catch up with friends from around the world and make new contacts over drinks and tapas at the Welcome Reception, which takes place in the lush gardens of the Hotel Barceló Renacimiento, our conference venue. Sponsored by Nanoracks, it will be the first opportunity for our global community to come together after two years of remote events: we can’t wait to see you there!

Dinner in the Navigation Pavillion, 28th September 2022

Seville is a city with a global history: the first expedition to successfully circumnavigate of the world set sail from Seville in 1519, and delegates at IASP Seville can soak up the atmosphere of this epic voyage with an exclusive dinner at the Navigation Pavilion. Built for the World Expo ’92, this riverside venue tells the story of Seville’s history of maritime navigation and provides an ideal setting for some typical Sevillian entertainment: an exclusive flamenco dance performance from local artist Planeta Jondo!

Dine on the banks of the Guadalquivir, 29th September 2022

For our Gala Dinner, we’ll be on the Terrazas del Marques de Contadero, a privileged site on the banks of the Guadalquivir River. Shaded by poplars, palm trees and bougainvillea, it boasts views of 14th century watchtower the Torre de Oro, the Plaza de Toros, and much of the historic city waterfront. Dine under the stars while drinking in the sights and sounds of Seville, including a special musical performance.

Delegates can enjoy the cool of the evening on this riverside terrace courtesy of our host, Cartuja Science and Technology Park. During the dinner we’ll also have a brief ceremony to welcome new IASP members, and announce the three winners of the IASP Inspiring Solutions awards 2022, so it promises to be a very special evening indeed.
