City 5.0 and the next generation of stps; holistic models for integration and convergence

The rapid evolution of urban landscapes demands a new approach for integrating STPs into cities. City 5.0 provides the framework for STP 5.0, enabling it to become a driver of urban transformation. Four integration models are proposed: Innovation Nucleus, Symbiotic Co-Governance, Distributed Innovation Ecosystem, and Embedded Intelligence. The Innovation Nucleus focuses on high-tech innovation, while Symbiotic Co-Governance promotes collaborative governance. The Distributed Innovation Ecosystem decentralizes innovation, and Embedded Intelligence integrates AI decision-making. 

The study advocates for hybrid models, combining elements of each approach to balance strengths and weaknesses. For example, cities with deep-tech economies may benefit from the Embedded Intelligence Model, while those with polycentric layouts should adopt Distributed STP networks. Challenges include governance complexity, AI ethics, and sustainability trade-offs, but hybrid models offer resilience and adaptability.
