Cleantechnology means Clean and safe technologies to protect the Planet. It’s a synonym of Greentechnology, but since 2008 and the stock market crises, American capital risk-funds, prefer to talk about « Cleantechnology » because of hazardous investment in greenwashing projects before the crises.

Today, there is a definition of Cleantechnology sector.

In fact, Cleantechnologies represent 8 sub-sectors, which are: Energies, Sustainable building, Mobility, Natural disasters, Agri technologies, Green IT, Resources and pollutions (water, soil, air, waste) and Greenchemistry.

So, we would like to present to present why Aix-Marseille Provence is a territory that develops more Startups in the Cleantech field than elsewhere in France. And present the support we offer to help these Cleantech Startups to develop.
