Description:
This paper aims to demonstrate the transformative journey of the City of Knowledge Foundation in Panama, showcasing how entrepreneurship serves as a vital bridge for inclusive innovation. Recognizing the inherent disparities within underserved populations, the City of Knowledge Foundation strategically evolved its programs, beginning with the creation of "Canal de Empresarias" for women entrepreneurs and extending initiatives to indigenous and refugee communities, among others. Collaborative initiatives with government bodies underscore scalability, and knowledge-sharing initiatives demonstrate a multiplying effect. The City of Knowledge Foundation’s inclusive innovation model not only bridges socio-economic gaps but also contributes to a broader societal shift, showcasing a blueprint for other innovation hubs seeking to drive equitable and sustainable change.
