Description:
This paper presents some novel-seeming concepts derived from new data-driven approaches. An overview of studies on the organic growth of young start-up Science and Technology Parks (STP), using Big Data, econometric analyses, panel data and computer simulations is presented. Results and concepts derived from industrialised countries, notably Sweden and the UK, may well be applicable to some emerging economies. Results are of interest to technology entrepreneurs considering choosing a STP to inhabit, as well as those in the central team, specialising in management and enterprise development, including growing new Parks.
