Description:

When asked, aged ten, “Roz, what do you want to do, when you grow up?” I did not know.

Then, travelling into Cambridge, UK, with my parents, I saw new buildings being built, the new NAPP Laboratories at the Cambridge Science Park. It was then I realised I would be ok. Not necessarily as a scientist but maybe helping to build a science park. This experience inspired me to work hard and do my best at school.

This is why I believe STPs/AOIs can play a fundamental role in the communities in which they are located. These environments not only support youth entrepreneurship, but they can also inspire young people to become entrepreneurial.

Over the last 20 years, I have been involved in a wide range of projects fostering a culture of creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship, and I have set up outreach programmes that inspire the young entrepreneurs of tomorrow.
