Parque Tecnológico de Asturias

The Asturias Technology Park is strategically located in the heart of Asturias, with close links to the University of Oviedo and local technology and research centres.

The park hosts several business support and investment organizations which implement the regional government’s business promotion strategy and support the creation of R + D + i based projects. They work collectively to support new business creation, including offering incubation services to new startups with a focus on the life sciences sector. Other key sectors include materials technology and energy (electricity, gas and renewable energies).

In addition to personalized technical advice, the bioincubator offers its customers different spaces equipped with the latest technologies that adapt to any model of meeting or event. As the first bioincubator of Asturias, it provides the necessary equipment for companies in the bio and life sciences sector, such as 6 "turnkey" laboratories with an integrated office and a shared equipment room. Two business centres provide a total of 6500m2 of office space distributed in five heights.

Resident companies can access expert advice on access to funding as well as venture and seed capital, technology consultancy, and support when expanding to new international markets. Sustainability is a key goal for Asturias Technology Park, and its mission is to become a zero-waste park.
