Anjo Amigo is a platform that works as a collaborative social network that aims to connect elderly people (who are the main risk group) to younger volunteers that are capable to give support and look after them on a daily basis. The solution (available on the website and the application) will promote, among its users, a better connection for carrying out various activities essential to facing the restrictions imposed by the pandemic, such as: (i) access services such as telehealth and telemedicine; (ii) do the shopping of food and medicine; (iii) obtain correct information and guidance regarding the COVID-19 protocols; and (iv) deal with feelings of loneliness and low self-esteem that can impact in physical and emotional conditions to do the housework.
