Tecnopuc Crialab, the creativity laboratory of the Science and Technological Park of PUCRS (Tecnopuc), designed Affective Walls for the Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre (HCPA). The words that appears in the walls were chosen through an electronic form sent to the employees of the Radiotherapy Service. They were consulted about which words and expressions they would like to hear and be remembered every day. The most voted ones were turned into posters.

The initiative was born out of a concern of Marta Nassif Pereira Lima, head of the Radiotherapy Unit at HCPA. “She was looking for a way to keep health professionals engaged and motivated. We co created a way to inspire and value them ”, says Tecnopuc Crialab leader, Ana Berger. The head of the Radiotherapy Unit, Marta Nassif, says that “the team created something of impact, which transformed the whole environment for the better. We are going through difficult times, needing a little bit more of each other. Certainly, what the Tecnopuc Crialab team did will serve as fuel ”, she comments.
