Krakow Technology Park
The Kraków Technology Park (KTP) is one of the most advanced Science and Technology parks in Poland, offering a complete one stop shop for business development since 1997.
Together with entrepreneurs, academic institutions and regional authorities, KTP works to develop and promote the Małopolska ecosystem and economy, leveraging the favourable conditions of the Polish Investment Zone to attract foreign investment. It also operates its own INNOventure seed fund which works closely with higher education institutions to commercialise the results of research and bring innovative solutions to the market.
The park offers a startup technology incubator and accelerator to stabilise and reinforce the market position of the most promising startups, inspiring them to global development. It provides office and coworking space, mentoring and consulting, access to investors specialist equipment, as well as a cloud computing lab, a data centre, a multilab film postproduction studio and a living lab which is one of only two certified Living Labs in Poland. The Kraków Living Lab is a platform for testing prototypes, products and services in real-life conditions to test concepts, with the KTP team offering specialist diagnosis and recommendations on product development, intensification of sales channels, and diversification of client groups.
The park specialises in the video games sector, with its Digital Dragons conference, regular studies of trends in the gaming sector, an academy offering careers workshops and lectures, a project to promote Polish developers at an international level, and KrakJam, a 48-hour computer games development marathon that forms part of the Global Game Jam initiative.
