Two SME teams are working on a deployable portable ECMO device, which can be used in the ARDS patients for veno-venous oxygenation. By the help of university and TUBITAK funds, we are planning to present it as a minimum viable product at the end of this year.

Long text:
Our team and another electrics-electronics company together work on a deployable portable ECMO device. The system can be used for the patints having an ARDS situation and who does not respond to the respiratory therapy. It will be used for veno-venous oxygenation. The device and system has a patent pending owned by theUniv. of Dokuz Eylul. It has its own microprocessor and software. Also a centrifugal blood pump head has been developed as to give minimal harm to the blood elements, and it can be integrated to the device. By the help of the National Council of Scientific & Technical Research, we plan to develop the system as a MVP (minimum viable product) at the end of this year. Our aim is to present it to the market as a cheaper alternative. Based in DEPARK.
