Incubator of the Center of Technologies of Academy of Science of Turkmenistan

The Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan is responsible for Turkmenistan’s national scientific and technical policy, and for the the development and implementation of the latest technologies.

Its main role is to forecast developments in STEM and determine priority areas, and to ensure that research is aligned with key sectors of the economy by coordinating the research conducted by research institutes and higher educational institutions. It is also responsible for the training of highly qualified specialists and promoting international cooperation.

It focuses on the priority areas of science and technology in Turkmenistan, which include nanotech, chemical technology, new materials, energy, biotech, molecular biology, agriculture, ecology and genetics, ICT, medicine, the innovative economy and humanities.

Currently, the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan unites 5 scientific institutes that carry out fundamental and applied research in priority areas of science and technology: the National Institute of Language, Literature and Manuscripts. Makhtumkuli, the Institute of History and Archeology, the Institute of Seismology and Atmospheric Physics, the Institute of Chemistry and the Technology Center.
