Sardegna Ricerche
Sardinia Technology Park is managed by the regional innovation agency Sardegna Ricerche. It is designed to promote research, innovation, and technology transfer, supporting the development of knowledge-based companies and strengthening the regional innovation ecosystem.
The park covers a surface area of approximately 160 hectares and operates across multiple sites, with its main campuses in Pula and Alghero. It hosts around 30 resident companies and includes 3 incubators, providing support for startups and early-stage ventures through infrastructure, mentoring, and business development services.
Sardinia Technology Park focuses on sectors such as information and communication technologies (ICT), biotechnology, life sciences, renewable energy, and advanced materials. It offers laboratories, office spaces, and shared technical facilities, enabling companies and research groups to develop and test innovative products and technologies.
A key role of the park is to bridge research and industry, fostering collaboration between universities, research centers, and businesses. Through incubation, training programs, and innovation support initiatives, it helps startups and SMEs grow and access national and international markets.
Sardinia Technology Park is a central hub for innovation and applied research in Sardinia, contributing to regional economic diversification and the development of high-value industries.
