National Science & Technology Park new director appointed

IASP member, National Science & Technology Park (NSTP) located at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), recently announced the appointment of Mr. Amer Sheikh as its new Director.  

Amer has served in pivotal senior executive Techno-Commercial roles at organizations such as Etisalat (PTCL), Motorola, NorthBay Solutions, and Sprint Nextel Inc. His portfolio includes deep expertise in GTM Strategy, Project Management, Product Development and Commercialization, P&L Management, Cloud computing, Quality Assurance and much more.  

In addition to his experience, he also possesses a strong educational background. With a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University (USA) and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Alabama (USA), he brings a strong technical foundation and global academic experience to his professional journey. Amer also holds certifications as a PMP and a Quality Six Sigma Black Belt. His dynamic leadership and global perspective are expected to strengthen NSTP’s role as a national driver of innovation and global collaboration.  

Amer’s appointment marks an important step forward in NSTP’s ongoing efforts to promote leading-edge research, support emerging entrepreneurs, and build strong international linkages and investment opportunities.
