INCUBA NEXT named "Property project of the year"

INCUBA NEXT, powered by IASP member INCUBA, was awarded the “Real Estate Project of the Year” at the AAREN Awards which were held at the start of January of this year. The awards honour players in the real estate industry who are based in and around Aarhus and have taken the lead and shown the way for others in the industry.

INCUBA Next is a 22,000 square metre extension to INCUBA Katrinebjerg, which from October 2024 will house growth-oriented technology companies in the heart of the city's IT and innovation environment in Aarhus N. It was nominated for its focus on dynamic architecture and the fact that the project lifts Aarhus. 

The jury focused on the fact that the nominees have each taken the lead in terms of architecture, sustainability, choice of materials and paving the way for future projects. It was also important to the jury that the nominees have given something back to the city in terms of community and city life, while also helping to put Aarhus on the Danish map. In her address, Mai Louise Agerskov, CEO of INCUBA, said, "We are very honoured to receive this recognition. INCUBA Next represents not just a building, but a vibrant community for top-tech performers, where innovation thrives and future digital talents are given the optimal framework for development and growth. The entire project is the result of the work and efforts of many good people, a fantastic team, dedicated partners and the vibrant ecosystem we have managed to create together.”
