If you had to describe YOUR ORGANISATION in one sentence, what would you say? 

Dhahran Techno Valley Company (DTV) is a leading innovation ecosystem in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, bringing together KFUPM, a top-ranked global university, industry leaders and venture capital, R&D centres, and startups to turn research into impact, energize innovation, and accelerate economic diversification. 

What does it mean for YOUR ORGANISATION to be part of this international network, IASP? 

We’ve been proud members of IASP for 26 years, and being part of this network means playing an active role in shaping and championing global science and innovation. IASP connects us with a vibrant community of like-minded leaders, providing opportunities to exchange ideas, build partnerships, and contribute to advancing innovation ecosystems worldwide. We’d love to introduce you to Dhahran in 2027! 

The theme of this year’s conference is Elevating Excellence – Innovation spaces driving high quality development. How has YOUR ORGANISATION evolved its approach to creating an environment that drives high-quality development?  

DTV has created a world-class science park and innovation cluster anchored by KFUPM, ranked among the top global universities, and powered by partners like Aramco, SABIC, and SLB. With over 20 specialized R&D centers, 1,750+ professionals, 400+ publications annually, and close to 1,000 technology transfers, we’ve built a thriving ecosystem that turns pioneering research into global solutions. Our approach focuses on integrating academia, industry, and startups with strong venture funding, enabling innovators to scale ideas and bring transformative technologies to market. 

What are you looking forward to most at IASP Beijing? 

We’re excited to experience Beijing’s dynamic innovation landscape and see what the city has in store for us. Beyond showcasing Dhahran’s achievements and future ambitions, this is a chance to immerse ourselves in a vibrant ecosystem, exchange ideas with global leaders, and celebrate the spirit of collaboration that defines IASP.
