From Hatch 8 to the World’s Biggest AI Platform: The Vyro Story

The National Science & Technology Park (NSTP), at NUST has been home to some of Pakistan’s most promising technology ventures. Among them is Vyro, founded by brothers Zain and Abdullah, students at SEECS, NUST, who began building an idea that would eventually grow into a global AI platform. As part of Cohort 1 of Hatch 8, NSTP’s flagship pre-incubation program, they brought a problem worth solving and the technical depth to pursue it. Over the years, Vyro continued to build and scale through the ecosystem and support provided by NSTP. Its core product, ImagineArt, evolved into an AI-powered creative platform for generating images, videos, music, advertisements, and complete creative campaigns.

The journey has now reached a significant milestone. Vyro recently announced an official OpenAI integration, bringing ImagineArt directly into ChatGPT. Users can access ImagineArt directly within ChatGPT by typing @ImagineArt, allowing them to create and edit content without leaving the conversation. The integration brings more than 50 creative tools into a single workflow, creating new possibilities for creators, marketers, founders, and businesses to move from ideas and briefs to creative content within one conversation.

Through its exponential growth at NSTP, Vyro is currently generating more than $30 million in Annual Recurring Revenue, with its technology being used by creators, marketers, and businesses globally. The OpenAI integration provides another major distribution channel for a product that began with two students building an idea at NUST.

Vyro’s journey reflects the purpose of the Hatch 8 program: identifying promising early-stage founders and providing them with the structure, mentorship, and ecosystem access to develop and scale their ventures. From its earliest days in the program, NSTP played an instrumental role in Vyro's growth, and what began as a student-led idea at NUST has grown into a global AI platform, with ImagineArt now integrated into ChatGPT.
