Background information

Polo Tecnológico Rosario (PTR) is a technology and innovation ecosystem located in Rosario, established in 2000 as a public–private initiative to strengthen technological development, entrepreneurship, and collaboration between industry, academia, and government. The park aims to position Rosario as a center for scientific and technological innovation while supporting knowledge-based economic growth.

The park operates through Zona i, a technology district located in the southern area of Rosario, with a surface area of approximately 5 hectares. The site currently hosts 30 resident companies, mainly active in sectors such as software, telecommunications, biotechnology, bioengineering, and engineering. The campus includes technology buildings, coworking facilities, a Maker Workshop, collaborative spaces, and a multipurpose events area.

Polo Tecnológico Rosario promotes innovation through collaboration between companies, universities, and public institutions, helping technology-based enterprises access business development opportunities, training, and knowledge networks. The ecosystem also supports entrepreneurship and startup growth through collaborative spaces and innovation initiatives designed to strengthen technology development and regional competitiveness.
