Innovation expands in Brasil with the inaguration of a new innovation hub

IASP member Parque Tecnológico UFRJ (Brasil) inagurated the “Parque HUB+”, its newest innovation hub in Rio de Janeiro.  

This space was created to connect ideas, boost projects and transform the future through collaboration and innovation. The launch event brought together representatives from various stakeholders in a programme marked by exchanges and inspirations. 

The opening panel was composed by Cássia Turci (Vice-Rector of UFRJ), Romildo Toledo (Executive Director of the Park and memebr of the IASP Advisory Council),  Tatiana Roque (Municipal Secretary of Science and Technology of Rio de Janeiro), among many more. 

Romildo Toledo presented the proposal and objectives of Parque HUB+, highlighting its role as a new point of convergence between university, business and society. After the presentation,  participants of the event also had the chance to see the centre first hand and dig a bit more in topic such as health and digital transformation, decarbonization, agribusiness, the environment, and social innovation.
