A new plant for printed circuit boards and electronic modules is under construction in SEZ Technopolis Moscow, complementing the large microelectronics cluster already in place. The plant is scheduled to open in 2022 and will create at least 100 new highly skilled jobs.

The new complex in SEZ Technopolis Moscow will be occupied by one of the largest manufacturers of printed circuit boards in Russia - the company Rezonit. A printed circuit board is the basis of any electronic product, from computers and mobile phones to household appliances. A major manufacturer of printed circuit boards, Rezonit has several factories in Russia, and has decided to settle in the capital's special economic zone in order to expand high-tech production.

The company will be able to increase the volume of production by one and a half times. According to preliminary calculations, the plant will produce more than six million square decimeters of boards annually for use in a wide variety of industries such as telecommunications, automotive, medicine, LED technology and consumer electronics.

With over 1 billion rubles invested in the project, the 15,000 m2 production complex is being built on Technopolis Moscow’s Alabushevo site, already home to a large microelectronics cluster, which includes over 30 resident companies that make chips, microcircuits, semiconductor products and more.

“The company chose the site in the special economic zone not by chance - the most favorable conditions for the development of high-tech products have been created here. Entrepreneurs are provided with land at a preferential rental rate and profit tax incentives, supply the necessary engineering communications, exempt from VAT when importing equipment and offer other support measures from the city,” said Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow.
