IASP Aerospace unites IASP members within the global space community to seize commercial space opportunities in the rapidly expanding aerospace industry.

The space environment is enabling groundbreaking advances in research and next-generation manufacturing, whilst barriers to entry into the aerospace industry, though still challenging, have been significantly reduced.

The thriving aerospace community now presents numerous opportunities to explore this burgeoning sector: space remains an unexplored frontier for both humanity and innovation, with some of the aerospace industry's greatest innovations originating from projects not originally designed for space applications.

IASP Aerospace enables members to connect with the broader space community, learning and sharing experiences with other highly motivated IASP members, granting opportunities to tap into collective expertise to accelerate innovation development. The platform facilitates collaboration, knowledge sharing, and joint efforts across diverse space activities and specialized environments within the aerospace industry, including microgravity, cis-lunar space, and lunar surface operations.

This aerospace community initiative opens opportunities for multiple industries intersecting with the aerospace sector, including Biotechnologies, Pharmaceuticals, Medical technologies, AgTech, Materials, Manufacturing, Additive manufacturing, Robotics, AI, Autonomy, Telecommunications, Remote sensing, and other relevant sectors seeking to leverage space-based innovations.

Coordinated by Technoport SA (Luxembourg) and Voyager Technologies – George Washington Carver Science Park (GWC), headquartered in the USA, the subnetwork will develop an international ecosystem that tackles the most difficult problems facing the industry, resulting in the creation of real business opportunities for subnetwork members.
