Turku Technology Properties Ltd

Turku Technology Properties Ltd is the main developer and operator of Turku Science Park. Founded in 2010, it develops and manages the physical environment and shared services that support businesses, universities, research organisations, and public-sector actors.

 It operates offices, laboratories, educational facilities, event spaces, retail premises, and other innovation-focused environments. These facilities form a key part of the Turku Science Park ecosystem, which includes more than 400 organisations and around 50,000 students, researchers, and professionals.

 Turku Technology Properties focuses on being the “place maker” of the ecosystem. Its role includes developing and leasing facilities, managing shared spaces and services, organising events and community activities, and creating environments that encourage collaboration and innovation. It works closely with the University of Turku, Åbo Akademi University, and Turku University of Applied Sciences.

 Turku Technology Properties also collaborates closely with Business Turku, who oversees companies’ support through business development, internationalisation, investment, talent attraction, and innovation services. Together, they contribute to strengthening Turku’s business and innovation ecosystem and creating an environment where companies, researchers, startups, and public organizations can connect and grow.
