Wadi Jeddah Innovation and Business District (WJIBD) is a leading innovation and investment ecosystem located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As the official innovation and investment arm of King Abdulaziz University, Wadi Jeddah was established by Royal Decree No. M/20 in 2010 with a mission to drive the knowledge economy, advance technology transfer and localization, and foster entrepreneurship in line with Saudi Vision 2030. Spanning 40,000 square meters, WJIBD is currently home to 40 companies employing more than 660 professionals, creating a thriving hub for research-driven startups and technology ventures. Its ecosystem supports innovation through a wide range of services, including co-working spaces designed to facilitate collaboration, knowledge exchange, and the organic growth of entrepreneurial ventures. Built as a beacon of knowledge and progress, Wadi Jeddah aims to support the sustainable growth of Jeddah by nurturing a vibrant, future-oriented innovation community at the intersection of academia, industry, and entrepreneurship. A strategic partnership with the innovation arm of Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC) to help plan and operate its Innovation Center. This collaboration brings global best practices, capacity building, and integration into CIC’s global ecosystem.
