Following the launch of the Call for Contributions a few months ago, we are pleased to announce that the submission platform for Sophia Antipolis 2026 is now officially open.

We invite experts, professionals, and researchers from Areas of Innovation (AOIs), Innovation Districts (IDs), and Science and Technology Parks (STPs) to submit a paper for the opportunity to speak at the 43rd IASP World Conference.

IASP looks forward to receiving contributions addressing one of the key topics related to the conference theme, “Tech for Humanity.” :

  • Climate action for humanity
  • Transforming healthcare
  • Learning for life
  • Feeding the future
  • Smart and sustainable cities
  • Technology for social good
  • Designing for everyone
  • Travel and mobility
  • Blue economy and ocean tech
  • Creative and cultural industries
  • Ethics by design
  • Responsible AI and automation
  • Cybersecurity and digital trust
  • Tech diplomacy and global solidarity
  • Innovation in space exploration
  • Human potential and workforce transformation

Speaking submissions are open to everyone, and authors do not need to be IASP members. Each submission must include an abstract, a short paper (maximum 21,000 characters) and a one-minute video summary. The submission deadline is 4 March 2026. Detailed technical guidelines, including information on paper requirements and subthemes, are available in the Call for Contributions.

All proposals will be reviewed by the Steering Committee, which will select the papers that best contribute to the conference theme and foster meaningful discussion, based on the clarity and relevance of their arguments. We look forward to shaping an outstanding conference programme for all delegates joining #IASPSophiaAntipolis.
