IASP supporting the internationalisation of innovation at Transfiere

IASP was proud to support Transfiere, the European forum on science, technology and innovation which took place in Malaga, Spai,n from 14-15 April.

A multi-sector forum for knowledge and technology transfer, it gathered the most relevant players in the national and international R&D&i ecosystem. This year it took place in hybrid format, bringing together over 2000 professionals, 30 universities, and 200 speakers at 75 thematic panels.

Organised by the city of Malaga and the Andalusian regional government, with support from Malaga Tech Park, key themes included internationalization opportunities, AI, digital transformation, 4.0 industry, open research and innovation, and public procurement of innovative solutions. Several IASP members were among the exhibitors and speakers, including PCT Cartuja, who will be our World Conference hosts for IASP Seville in 2022; APTE, Malaga Tech Park, Geolit and the University of Malaga. 

IASP was also involved in bringing international companies to the Spanish innovation ecosystem, by helping deeptech and deep science startups find investors in a dedicated investment forum as part of Transfiere, which was coordinated by the Enterprise Europe Network.

10 selected startups had the chance to pitch to deep tech investors and specialists looking for deep tech solutions and investment opportunities, as well as free access to the networking agenda for B2B meetings with other attendees and potential partners during the event.
