Two IASP members, Technology Park Andalusia (PTA) based in Malaga, Spain, and ITU ARI Teknokent, based in Istanbul, Turkey, have recently signed a softlanding agreement to support their companies.

The collaboration agreement, which grew out of discussions at the IASP World Conference in Istanbul last September, will see both parks offer personalised softlanding support to companies from Turkey and Spain who want to expand internationally by introducing them to the local innovation ecosystem. Companies will work in the partner park for a set period of time while they explore the market possibilities.

Advantages for participating companies include a physical base in the partner park which offers technical support and personalised assistance during their stay. They will also have access to specialised services to help them connect with national networks, create international links and to meet local businesses, researchers and academics.
