From Ambition to Action – Hydrogen Pilot in the Malopolska Region

The recent energy crises showed, even more obviously than before, the crying need for change in the energy mix and prospect for usage of fossil fuels. There are many possible paths which countries, companies, public administration, STP/AOI’s can choose to make the energy transition the new and more sustainable - reality. The change is certain. The question is however: how fast can we make it? What kind of resources do we need? What kind of stakeholders should we include? Which path should we actually choose – should it be biogas, solar energy, nuclear power or maybe hydrogen?

We, as the Krakow Technology Park with a close cooperation with regional authorises, research institutes and companies, have decided to choose hydrogen as the possible game changer in the energy mix of the region and a plausible new fuel of tomorrow.
