Intellectual Property in the 4th Industrial Revolution

This paper will discuss major trends and key success factors in the 4th Industrial Revolution ("the 4th IR") for Science & Technology Parks ("STPs") and Areas of Innovation ("AOIs").  Success factors include considerations from the point of view of both technological capacity and human development capacity with a focus on high-value services STPs and AOIs can provide, in particular, high-value services provided by intellectual property managers to help realize the benefits of research and development in increasingly open and collaborative working environments.
