The Association of Science and Technology Parks (STP Hungary) was founded in Hungary in 2017 to create and coordinate a national innovation evaluation system with a new approach based on the method of science and technology parks.
The result of the professional work started in 2010 is a hybrid economic and social development model and program, which channels the needs of the actors of the multiple helix model through the science and technology parks and jointly creates solutions that serve the interests of all participants.
In addition to the standard value system, we built the model based on shared interests, which appeared in the decision-making systems as both a bottom-up and top-down initiative.
Our organization became a member of the IASP in 2017. Our most important task is to learn about successful and effective development models and good practices and adapt them at the national level.
