Background information

Silicon Village, also known as FDH Technology Park, is a large-scale technology and innovation development located in Islamabad, Pakistan. The project covers a total surface area of approximately 498 acres, making it one of the most extensive planned technology parks in the country. It has been designed to support the growth of technology companies, startups, and digital industries through modern infrastructure and a purpose-built innovation ecosystem.

The park provides serviced office space and facilities for technology-driven businesses and currently hosts 10 resident companies. It also operates a large technology incubation center, which is already in operation and supports 2 incubated startups, offering them workspace, mentoring, and business development support. The incubation center plays a key role in nurturing early-stage ventures and encouraging entrepreneurship within the park.

In addition to office and incubation facilities, Silicon Village is developing critical digital infrastructure. A data center is near completion, intended to support high-demand computing, data storage, and digital services for resident companies and the wider technology ecosystem. This infrastructure strengthens the park’s position as a hub for IT services, software development, and digital innovation.

Beyond physical infrastructure, Silicon Village aims to foster collaboration between companies, investors, mentors, and service providers through networking activities, events, and ecosystem-building initiatives. The project is part of a broader effort to position Islamabad and Pakistan as competitive locations for technology investment, innovation, and digital economic growth.
