IASP blog FAQ
/blog.jpg)
What is the IASP blog for?
The IASP blog is a space for members to share experiences and expertise, to tell colleagues their thoughts about the science park industry and talk in a more personal way about the work going on in their parks and the impact it has on their city, region and community.
What topics could I write about? A few ideas…
- Success stories about your innovative companies – new technologies they are developing, their growth or expansion to international markets
- Collaboration with other science parks – visits you’ve made, updates on how your joint project is progressing
- Take-aways and conclusions from courses or events you have attended
- Thinkpieces about our industry and trends that affect science parks and areas of innovation
Who can contribute?
Any IASP member can post on the blog. Just log on to the members area and select ‘My blog posts’ in the menu on the left.
How long should posts be?
We suggest you write between 300 and 1000 words. You can include up to 4 images too, and share a document. Please write in English - if you have any grammatical doubts the moderator will be happy to help! All posts will be moderated by IASP and may be edited for clarity and length. If we have to make major edits we’ll check back with you before we publish.
What about photos?
Your post will need a photo or two - we recommend you find four, if possible, but you can upload as many as nine.
How do the tags work?
Tags help readers find more relevant content: just click on any tag, and you'll get a list of all the content on the IASP website which uses that tag. We recommend you identify at least two tags from the list that fit your post, and a maximum of 15.
Can I comment on posts?
Yes! We encourage all IASP members and website visitors to comment on blog posts. Logged in IASP members can simply write their comment and it will appear under their name, while visitors will be prompted to leave a name and email address.
We look forward to reading what you have to say!
