Hainan University Science Park

The Hainan University Science Park, established in 2023 in Haikou City on Hainan Island, stands as a dynamic hub for research, innovation, and technological advancement. Spanning 190,000 m2, the park is a strategic initiative of Hainan University, designed to bridge academia and industry while promoting technology transfer and entrepreneurial development. As one of the region’s key science and technology projects, it currently hosts 26 companies engaged in a range of forward-looking activities.

With a strong focus on research and development, the park supports critical fields such as biotechnology, environmental sciences, information technology, engineering, and marine sciences—areas vital to the economic and scientific progress of both Hainan and China at large. By fostering close university-industry collaboration, the Science Park accelerates innovation and the creation of new technologies and solutions.
