IASP welcomes September with a new Communications team

This September, IASP’s Communications & Marketing team begins a new chapter, welcoming two new colleagues and bringing together complementary experience across communications and marketing.  

Please join us in welcoming Julie Huerta, IASP’s new Communications & Marketing Manager, and Tomasz Koc, who joins as Communications & Events Intern. Together with Communications Officer Begoña Ceballos, they form the team supporting IASP’s communications and marketing across our global network.  

Julie Huerta joins IASP as Communications & Marketing Manager, bringing a multidisciplinary background in strategic communications, digital and brand marketing, event marketing and project management. In her role, Julie leads IASP’s communications & marketing activity, working with the team to strengthen the association’s global visibility, shape a clear and consistent brand voice and build meaningful engagement with members, partners and the wider international community. 

We are also pleased to welcome Tomasz Koc to IASP Headquarters as our new Communications & Events Intern. 

Originally from Zielona Góra, Poland, Tomasz is currently completing his International Business studies at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. During his time at IASP, he will support the Communications and Events team across ongoing communications projects, event preparation, content and other departmental activities. We are very happy to have Tomasz on board and look forward to working with him as he begins his journey at IASP. 

They join Begoña Ceballos, who started at IASP in January 2025 as a Communications & Events Intern and moved into the role of Communications Officer when her internship concluded. Since then, she has supported a broad range of communications activities, including social media, graphic design, video and content creation, and event communications.  

We're delighted to welcome Julie and Tomasz to IASP, and to celebrate Begoña's continued growth and contribution as part of the Communications & Marketing team.
