MobiNexus partners meet in Croatia to advance Europe’s mobility innovation ecosystem

Partners of the MobiNexus project, including our Knowledge and Project Manager, Laura Monasterio, gathered in Rijeka, Croatia, on 4-5 May for the project’s second partner meeting.  

Hosted by STEP RI, the Science and Technology Park of the University of Rijeka, the meeting was attended by Silvi Serreqi, Project Officer representing the European Commission, who delivered an overview of Horizon Europe priorities and project expectations. 

MobiNexus is an EU funded initiative that aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry in the transport and mobility sector, driving collaboration, innovation, and digital transformation across Europe. The project contributes directly to the goals of the European Green Deal and the New European Innovation Agenda, combining digital innovation, green transition, and entrepreneurial growth to achieve smarter, more connected transport systems.  

The meeting focused on reviewing progress across the project’s activities and ongoing collaborative work, as well as discussing future development and collaboration activities. Partners discussed the continued development of the MobiNexus platform, Innovation Hubs and empathy map activities. An overview of the ongoing MobiNexus activities and consortium progress was also presented by project coordinator, Eleni Anoyrkati (Coventry University). The meeting also included a communication and dissemination session led by Laura Monasterio, where partners reviewed recent outreach activities, project indicators, forthcoming communication actions and coordination guidelines for the next phase of the project. 

The meeting provided an important opportunity for partners to align on progress, exchange insights and coordinate the next stages of the MobiNexus project as it works to shape the future of mobility innovation across Europe.
