NSTP and NUST Entrepreneurs Club host Startup Competition

National Science & Technology Park (NSTP), IASP member from Pakistan, recently partnered with the NUST Entrepreneurs Club (NEC) to deliver Pitch Bazar, a one-day startup competition designed to support idea and prototype stage ventures. Held on 20 November 2025 at NUST, the activity formed part of NSTP’s continued efforts to strengthen early stage innovation and student engagement within its wider ecosystem.

A total of 19 startups from six universities participated, including teams from NUST H12 Campus, EME, MCS, NUML, PIEAS, Air University, Virtual University and HCCS. Participants presented their ideas before an invited panel of judges. The event was attended by Ms. Sehrish Raza, Founder of BizB, as Chief Guest, and Mr. Maajid Maqbool as Special Guest.

NSTP’s Senior Manager Innovation, Mr. Yaruq Nadeem, worked closely with NEC to shape the competition structure, pitching flow and evaluation criteria, ensuring that the event aligned with NSTP’s innovation development processes and provided a meaningful experience for participating teams.

Through initiatives such as Pitch Bazar, NSTP continues to expand its outreach and support mechanisms for emerging entrepreneurs. More than 10,000 students across Pakistan have now engaged with NSTP’s innovation and entrepreneurship programmes, reflecting the park’s ongoing commitment to building a strong and inclusive innovation ecosystem.
