On the way to IASP 2022 Seville

With the welcome return to in person events just around the corner, IASP is already hard at work preparing a truly world-class event for our 39th World Conference, which will take place in Seville, Spain from 27-30 September 2022.

Hosted by Cartuja Science and Technology Park, the main theme of the conference will be “Green and digital change powered by innovation”. A full Steering Committee has been appointed to oversee the scientific programme, and the first task on their agenda is to launch a Call for Contributions, inviting potential speakers to submit a paper for their chance to address our global audience.

The 13 innovation experts from Brazil, Canada, China, Denmark, Italy, The Netherlands, Spain and Sweden bring a uniquely global perspective, and their insights will be invaluable in helping us put together a quality programme that is as global as IASP in terms of both speakers and its key themes.

IASP Seville will explore the myriad ways in which innovation ecosystems and their key players can and do support green and digital change across sectors, and the new methods they will deploy to do so in the future. Specific topics of discussion look likely to include the role of innovation ecosystems in developing smart cities and the circular economy, testing new mobility solutions, coordinating net zero energy districts and promoting cultural and behavioural changes in wider society, as well as taking a look at their infrastructure, the way they support green and digital startups, and an invitation to showcase best practices from their resident companies.
