IASP member Technopark Morocco has signed three major partnership agreements to strengthen the Moroccan startup ecosystem and promote innovation and sustainable development.

The agreements, signed at the GITEX Africa tech and startup show, mark a decisive step in the deployment of Technopark’s new roadmap, approved by the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform (MTNRA).

The first agreement, signed with MTNRA, Université Mohammed VI Polytechnique (UM6P) and UM6P Ventures, aims to make UM6P acceleration programmes more accessible to Technopark startups operating in fields such as Deep Tech, Artificial Intelligence and renewable energies.

The second agreement, with MTNRA, Glovo, CDG Invest, UM6P and UM6P Ventures, enables Morocco startups to benefit from residency and mentoring programmes within the Glovo Startup Lab, providing development opportunities and global network access.

The third partnership agreement, between Technopark and GITEX Africa organiser KAOUN International, explores future collaboration opportunities in relation to GITEX events, aiming to promote mutual growth and market expansion.

Lamiae Benmakhlouf, CEO of Technopark Morocco, said: “These partnership agreements represent a significant step forward for our ecosystem. They demonstrate our commitment to creating synergies between key players in the sector, offering unique opportunities to Moroccan startups and promoting technological innovation in the service of sustainable development. Together, we are determined to propel Morocco to the forefront of the international digital scene.”
