Thailand Science Park launches international startup landing programme

IASP member, Thailand Science Park, has launched the TSP Scale X Landing Programme, a two-year initiative designed to support international startups entering Thailand and ASEAN while creating new opportunities for Thai startups to expand internationally. 

The programme brings together more than 20 organisations from the public and private sectors, including partners from Thailand’s Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation and Ministry of Digital Economy and Society, alongside investment, education, professional services, technology and innovation ecosystem partners.  

For international startups, it provides a structured route to explore the Thai market, establish local connections and develop opportunities across the wider ASEAN region. For Thai startups, it offers access to international networks, overseas soft-landing opportunities and potential cross-border business partnerships. 

At the centre of the programme is Thailand Science Park’s role in connecting startups with the wider innovation ecosystem. Participants can access research and development infrastructure, laboratories, testing and analysis services, industry networks, investors, universities and potential business partners. The programme also provides opportunities to develop pilot projects, explore technology applications and support the commercialisation of innovation. 

The first cohort’s application period ran from 15 July to 15 August 2026, marking the initial step in a programme designed to build longer-term connections between technology companies and international markets. 

The approach reflects an increasingly important role for science and technology parks, incubators and other areas of innovation in helping technology companies navigate markets beyond their home countries. Rather than operating as a standalone soft-landing service, TSP Scale X Landing brings together research, industry, government, investors and entrepreneurs around shared opportunities for collaboration and business development. 

Through this model, Thailand Science Park is strengthening connections between Thailand’s innovation ecosystem and international technology companies, while creating pathways for Thai startups to engage with markets and partners beyond the country.
