This month we welcome three new Full Members to our network

Join us in welcoming three new Full members that join the IASP global community this August. Get to know these newest additions from Brazil and Finland. 

Parque Tecnológico da Indústria, Brazil 

Located in Paraná, Parque tecnológico da Indústria is an innovation and technology park focused on accelerating industrial innovation and strengthening collaboration between industry, science, startups and the public sector. Operating across an area of approximately 14 million m², the park hosts around 35 resident companies alongside an incubator supporting around 75 startups and projects, providing mentoring, training, networking and business development support for early stage ventures. 

The park's activities span advanced manufacturing, digital transformation, engineering, automation, sustainability and Industry 4.0, with infrastructure and collaborative environments designed to facilitate applied research and technology transfer. 

Tiradentes TechPark, Brazil 

Developed by Universidade Tiradentes, Tiradentes TechPark is located in Aracaju and serves as a key innovation hub in northeastern Brazil. With a built area of approximately 24,000 m², the park supports knowledge intensive businesses and applied research projects across a broad range of sectors including information technology, health technologies, biotechnology, engineering, energy, creative industries and digital innovation. 

The park offers a comprehensive ecosystem for technology-based enterprise development, including incubation and acceleration activities, a Fab Lab for rapid prototyping and digital manufacturing, and a range of specialised laboratories supporting applied research and collaboration between companies and academic researchers. 

Turku Technology Properties, Finland 

Building and developing attractive work environments and services at the heart of Turku Science Park, Turku Technology Properties is an essential part of the Turku innovation ecosystem, which includes more than 400 organisations and around 50,000 students, researchers, and professionals.

With a focus on being the “place maker” of the ecosystem, its role includes developing and leasing facilities, managing shared spaces and services, organising events and community activities, and creating environments that encourage collaboration and innovation. It works closely with the University of Turku, Åbo Akademi University, and Turku University of Applied Sciences. Turku Technology Properties also collaborates closely with Business Turku, jointly contributing to strengthening Turku’s business and innovation ecosystem and creating an environment where companies, researchers, startups, and public organizations can connect and grow.
