Two interns join the team IASP Headquarters

IASP is delighted to introduce our two new interns, Alex Mawby and Aaron Wilson, who will be helping out at IASP Headquarters over the next nine months.

Alex Mawby is an International Relations and Spanish student at Manchester Metropolitan University, with a focus on the role of international institutions in fostering development and economic growth around the world. Originally from West Yorkshire in the UK, he speaks fluent Spanish having lived in Santiago, Chile for two years, working as an English tutor for local businesses. He will be supporting the projects and knowledge management team with statistical analysis, report writing and research, as well as managing the social media accounts for IASP’s EU projects.

Aaron Wilson is from Cambridge in the UK, and is studying International Management and Spanish at the University of Bath. He speaks French and Spanish in addition to his native English, and as part of the communications and events team, he will be supporting IASP’s work raising the profile of the STP/AOI industry and preparing for the return to in person events. He’s looking forward to perfecting his Spanish during his internship (and adding new languages to his resumé as soon as he can!) as well as gaining experience in an international organisation.
