Objectives

The overall objective of the project was to increase regional competitiveness by supporting enterprises and improving the business, R&D, innovation, and ICT environment, through:


  • The provision of technical assistance to support the Research and Technological Development & Innovation Initiative and Strategies in the Gaziantep Province.
  • The increase of the competitiveness of SMEs hosted by the Technopark.
  • The provision of technical assistance support in terms of capacity-building activities for MoSIT (Ministry of Science and Industry & Technology) for Science & Technology.

IASP supported the team leader in the development of the following tasks:


  • Conducting an assessment of Gaziantep Technopark's performance.
  • Designing a roadmap providing guidance on the direction it should follow to upgrade the Technopark's development in the future.
  • Developing manuals and a Business Plan for the Technopark management.
  • Developing a manual on the internationalization of the Technopark.
