PIIT MONTERREY: Redesigning services and spaces for executing Nuevo Leon 4.0 Initiative

The facilities and capabilities of the PIIT, its R&D centers, and the synergy between them will promote the rapid and easy transition of the economy to the 4th industrial revolution based on knowledge, innovation and qualified human capital, with a sustainable development model from a local and global perspective and with a long-term vision. This paper will focus on the strategies of the 4.0 Initiative tailored to transform the local and regional industry to a digital model, and on how the creation of spaces such as the Digital Design and Manufacturing Innovation Center and the synergy between already installed capacities in the park is optimized by new ways of collaboration between associations and institutions.
