Background information

Ege Teknopark Technology Development Zone was established in 2014 with a focus on Life Sciences and Health. Owned and run by the rectorate of Ege University, it is a single-shareholder structure, with a board of directors that includes representatives of national and international institutions.

Founded as the fourth Technology Development Zone of İzmir, Ege Teknopark aims to increase the R & D and innovation potential of the region and to increase qualified employment by working in cooperation and synergy with other stakeholders in İzmir, particularly in the fields of life sciences and health.
