PIT, Parque de Inovação Tecnológica - São José dos Campos

PIT – Parque de Inovação Tecnológica São José dos Campos is a major science, technology and innovation hub established in 2006 by the Municipality of São José dos Campos and the Government of São Paulo. The park covers a 188,000 m² core area and has more than 300 companies linked to its programmes. It offers a range of facilities and services to support businesses at different stages of development, including an incubator and accelerator, four business centres, technology development centres, laboratories and shared infrastructure.

PIT also hosts and collaborates with major education and research institutions, including the National Center for Natural Disaster Monitoring and Alarms (Cemaden) and the Universidade Federal de São Paulo (Unifesp). Its three multi-user laboratories focus on manufacturing development, simulation and critical systems, and electromagnetic compatibility and interference.

Beyond the companies based within its facilities, the park supports a wider innovation ecosystem through industry clusters, including the ICT Cluster of the Vale do Paraíba region and the Brazilian Aerospace Cluster. While its activities are closely linked to the region’s aerospace and technology strengths, PIT supports innovation and business development across a broader range of sectors.
