Kyoto Research Park reinforce its international dymension by hosting Italian, Estonian and Finnish delegations

IASP members Kyoto Research Park (KRP) and Milano Innovation District (MIND) joined forces at the Italian Pavilion of the Osaka-Kansai Expo for the event “How Innovative Ecosystems Move Forward”. Building on their 2021 collaboration agreement, the two ecosystems aim to strengthen their international cooperation efforts even further. 

The event, moderated by Alberto Mina from MIND, highlighted opportunities in two key areas: the future of health and the city of the future. Delegations from both sides showcased leading companies and exchanged ideas to foster new partnerships.

Following the event, a delegation from Estonia and Finland, including IASP member Science Park Tehnopol and Green Net Finland, also visited KRP and participated in a guided tour. The connection originally began at a meeting with IASP CEO Ebba Lund, who introduced them at the 2024 World Conference in Nairobi, and has been thriving ever since, culminating in this official visit.

KRP will also travel to Helsinki to attend the SLUSH event in November and is now considering visits to Tallinn and Science Park Tehnopol to discuss ways to further strengthening their collaboration.
