Notes:

This InfoDay will provide information on how Brazilian entities can benefit from Horizon 2020, the European Commission's financing programme.

Horizon 2020 is the research and innovation funding programme of the European Union (EU) that places investment in research and innovation at the heart of the European strategy for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth.

In order for Brazilian institutions and researchers to understand how they can participate in H2020, this free event, led by INCOBRA and ENRICH in Brazil will take place on November 13 at FINEP (Funding Authority for Studies and Projects).

Brazilian researchers, universities, companies and research and innovation institutions will have the opportunity to understand how to find international partners and develop cooperation projects, such as creating and submitting potentially attractive proposals and, of course, expanding networking with the European community to jointly develop knowledge , research and leadership.

INCOBRA

The overall objective of INCOBRA is to focus, increase and enhance Research & Innovation (R&I) Cooperation Activities between Brazil (BR) and European Union (EU) R&I actors, so that both regions get the best value out of the mutual cooperation. INCOBRA impacts help to induce institutional change at the policy and programme levels of the BR-EU R&I cooperation leading to enhanced framework conditions encouraged by an enhanced policy dialogue and an enhanced funding landscape, with increased matchmaking of programmes and with further R&I funds available for BR-EU cooperation.

ENRICH in Brazil

ENRICH in Brazil is the Brazilian pilot centre of the European Network of Research and Innovation Centres and Hubs, with other pilot centres located in China and the USA. With partners from Brazil and eight European countries (Germany, Portugal, Belgium, Hungary, Austria, Spain, and Turkey), the consortium’s goal is strengthening cooperation in research, innovation, and business between Brazil and Europe by exchanging innovative practices, experience, and knowledge between all parts involved.
